Samantha is a freelance writer and author based in Sheffield. She won the H E Bates competition and The Tacchi-Morris Prize for short stories. Her chapbooks, Dreamers and Orange Balloon, are published by Folded Word. Her novels are Despite losing it on Finkle Street, Reliability of Rope, A Bad Winter, and Rose Villa, published by independent presses. She wrote her first non fiction history book for Pen and Sword books, which was published in 2020. She was shortlisted for the Theatre 503 prize and the Top 5 Festival at The Bolton Octagon Theatre. The Devil is in the Timing, her first play, was performed at The Bread and Roses Theatre. Samantha also writes sleep stories, travel, lifestyle, and other articles.
