I’ve had a fantastic time out and about at recent events promoting A Bad Winter, and my previous books. I was at the Stannington Story Festival again in September, always a lovely intimate festival, we had the Dungworth Choir performing in the marquee and no one cared about the rain! I appeared at Walkley Library for a nice relaxed evening chat with library volunteer and fellow writer, Anne Grange, and we had some enthusiastic writing group and book group members come along to ask questions. Then I was guest author at the first Walsall Book Social of the year. This is a lovely warm and welcoming informal book group who meet in the Light Cinema in Walsall once a month. I’m back in Walsall this Saturday for a spin-off event for World Book Day, reading and signing, and I’ve got more events planned for later in the year that I’ll spill about nearer the time. I’ll leave you with a few photos and hope to see you at a book event soon! Follow me on Instagram @sampriestleybooks or Twitter @sampriestley or friend me on Facebook!
